What Participants Say

“This was hands-down one of the best workshops I’ve ever taken. Claude is gifted, present, humble and created an incredibly safe and supportive environment.”

“I have not stopped singing since our weekend together. And, I’ve played the piano every day since I got back…that’s a break through for me as well that I completely attribute to the class. Music is fun again!”

“Of the ten Kripalu courses I have taken, this ranks among the very, very, best. The instructor is one hundred and fifty percent in tune with his students’ needs.”

“During this workshop I watched Claude break down personal barriers and target issues of inhibition and anxiety. As a psychiatrist, I watched him do seven years of therapy in six minutes! My personal connection with my voice and music has been rekindled and for that I can’t thank him enough. I feel inspired and rejuvenated ready to take on new challenges.”

“The home study course has been super helpful for me. I noticed that when I sang songs before doing the exercises, the songs seemed dull, and I didn’t seem to be able to access my full vocal range. After practicing the exercises, my full vocal range was present. I could hit the high and low notes in songs easily and with no strain. I can’t wait for the next lesson in a week!”The Natural Singer workshop far exceeded my expectations. It was hard to imagine that a weekend workshop would so boost my confidence and also send me home with practical tips to improve my voice.”

“This workshop has helped me find more of my true voice in life, in every sense of the word. Singing in a supportive group setting gave me a shot of courage to take my songwriting and performing to a new level and the experience has been truly life-changing. It has helped me remove blocks to self-expression that have muted my true voice for years.”

“I went to the workshop with a public speaking phobia. With Claude’s coaching and encouragement, I spoke in front of an audience and felt confident and more importantly, I felt alive. I loved this workshop and look forward to everything ahead of me…”

“I came to the weekend with some singing experience in groups, but with many years of dissatisfaction with my “small voice.” Within a few minutes, my voice was sailing out the door and landing on hapless passersby, not just my classmates. It didn’t feel like pushing or stressing to get a bigger sound, but just like whatever Claude said or did in those few minutes, somehow my resonator was bigger and my sound was bigger, too. Yipee!”

“I did not realize how this workshop had transformed me until I returned home and found I had a clear and loud and fun voice to say all kind of things that I would not have said before with such conviction. I also had been deeply ashamed to sing, but now I am amused by my singing and have a lot of compassion and understanding for myself.”

“Why this workshop is different than any other singing class is because we do not only learn how to use our voice, and how to increase our range, but we push through any limiting beliefs we may have about OUR VOICE, whether using it to carry a tune, or to simply state our opinion. The instructor and the soulful, safe and supportive space which is created, allows us to magically expose the superstars we truly are.”

“I was delighted to reconnect with a part of myself that had been dormant for too long…a way of being that brings much more vitality, honesty and joy into my days. Everyone created a space where it was fun …and necessary…to step out and be heard in an authentic way.”

“Thank you for a wonderful week, full of love, kindness and inspiration. I’ve never felt stronger in my life than now, never had this much hope before and faith, that life is good, that dreams are on their way… love and many thanks.”

“You have no idea what your love, support, encouragement and kindness mean to me. I have saved all of your comments and will read them over and over again. No way in this lifetime would I have attempted something like this without meeting all of you.”

“WOW!!! I had such a fabulous experience at the Natural Singer workshop! I have been super jazzed by such a rush of creative energy, which I feel is only a catalyst for more to come! Thank you for being such an amazing group.”

“I found my voice and I’m no longer ashamed to use it.”

“The singing exercises have become my favorite thing of the day, I already feel that my voice is being strengthened from them. But more than that: I had the most amazing epiphany on the second night that I did them. I started to think of my voice as an instrument, like a piano or a violin. Something I have been given. Before, my resistance to doing ‘real’ voice exercises meant that I would never risk becoming ‘too good’. My life long fear of what could happen if I actually became a good, skilled singer. You have made me let go of that fear and I now am enjoying my progress. I’m so grateful to have met you. And no complaints from the neighbors either!”

“I am so grateful for all of you and the time we had together. The hallways feel a bit empty without you and the program room is still echoing your songs. I really loved singing together in the circle with you. During the weekend I was able to sing with more and more of my body and being. It was an honor to be with you. Your eyes and presence and courage in the midst of the environment Claude created with his being and his coaching invoked more out of me than I would have thought possible. (It takes a village…..) I feel freer and lighter and happier. Can’t wait to start the at-home course.”

“I did my first open mike last night!!! Still on cloud nine and hope to do more. In short, Claude’s workshop at Omega this summer connected me with a wonderful group of singers who continue to open their hearts, explore their souls and lend one another support. This new strength is feeding my desire to look for opportunities to sing and “fear-less” If you’re a car/shower singer, this workshop is a great way to let yourself out!”

“What I liked best was the shocking intuitiveness of the teacher. He’s brilliant. I found my voice, am willing to sing out, and am beginning to look at songs and just sing them.”

“I feel so inspired by all of the ripple effects that are happening already among our group- Janet joining a choir, Ruth and Micheal getting together for a night on the town to see Marilyn Maye in New York, the groupies gathering in San Francisco for Lori’s show, and Stan stopped by a gig of mine last night to say that he has joined a band in St. Louis:) – the abundance of musicality is getting out of hand, from coast to coast and in the center- how neat!”

“Rarely do people make such an impact on me. You are an incredibly gifted teacher and musician, insightful about people, their backgrounds and motivating factors. You control difficult people incredibly well and you managed to tap into each of us in a unique and profound way. Thank you. I sang the whole way home in my car. From Next to Normal to REM to Sirius Top 20 – and I had such a f’n great time doing it.”

“Before coming to this workshop I was afraid to love and be loved. Whoever comes into this workshop will quickly find out that it is not just about learning how to sing properly, but more so of creating a safe and loving environment inside yourself. It is about overcoming fear and becoming vulnerable, and thereby singing better. I found my own voice, I found a good place, and I found awesome connections. This workshop has been a very pleasurable learning process into positive transformation. Thank you.”

“Singing with all of you this weekend was one of the best experiences of my life, and I can’t wait to hear about what adventures unfold for all of you!”

“Our class was amazing! I haven’t stopped singing–or smiling. Claude, you have released a monster! Thank you, all of you, for your encouragement and support. The workshop has really made a beautiful difference in my life.”

“I GOT IN to the intermediate level Gospel Choir at UO!!! Yippee!!! It’s gonna be great fun, and a LOT of work. I’ve never sang in a choir before, and only started singing a year and a half ago, so its gonna be a steep learning curve, but why not? Thank you all for your support and kind words!”

“I came to this workshop in a state of despair, hoping to rejuvenate myself after years of overwork and effort – to fortify me for the toils I expected lay ahead. Instead, I have found my life’s purpose and that it holds value in the world! I have been resurrected and born anew, and I feel so blessed to have found you. This second half of my life on Mother Earth will be about owning my courage and gifts so that I may help others to shine their light as well.”

“Thank-you to all of you, for the greatest group experience I’ve had in my life! Claude, you really have a gift for creating this kind of space with a group so quickly! Ironically, I went to a lovingkindness retreat which was fabulous, BUT…I only spoke with one person individually that whole weekend. Now I go to a singing workshop and PRESTO– I’m surrounded by
Lovingkindness nearly instantly and feel like I have friends that I miss already!”

“After leaving feeling exhausted and sleep-deprived (overactive brain syndrome both nights over the weekend!) and the 5 hour drive home straight to a choir rehearsal at 6:00, I discovered all this miraculous singing energy! It was a wonderful experience singing with you!”

“Thank you all for sharing your amazing gifts of time, presence, insight, and support! Having voice is having power. I am so happy to have met you all and wish you light on your paths!”

” I have learned to sing my ass off in public without a care.”

“Last night I actually sang for my wife.”

“The whole weekend was magnificent. I feel like I am still connected to the whole group, to that loving and supportive energy that we created together. I can finally hear MY VOICE now. I used to mumble before, covering myself under very loud music, and now I finally allow myself to sing with my voice and keep the music lower, just enough to follow the melody. I am practicing in the car, and I can see for sure, it’s getting better and better. After all this years of being quiet, I am so glad and grateful I went to this workshop and met so many wonderful people with such a beautiful souls. Thanks to all of you.”

“It was such a joy and one of the most moving experiences I have ever had. Witnessing and experiencing what we as a group, did for each other with the help of an inspired facilitator was very profound. The trust I felt toward our group of 38, who I had met only hours before, enabled me to open up and sing the way I do when I am in my own living room and no one is watching!”

“Because, inspired by you all and our workshop, I put together a one-woman show at The Tribeca Performing Arts Center which included 8 songs, one of which was The Last Leviathan. I had my first performance last night which was a huge success and if any of you are in NYC next week it is on again, Monday night at 7.30?

“Before this class, I’ve had this story that “I can’t sing”, and that “my singing is annoying”. With Claude’s technique and everyone’s support and love, I’ve broken out of my shell and realized that I, in fact, have a beautiful voice. And the truth is, everyone’s voice is beautiful, we just need to find it.”

“The workshop reinforced my growing awareness of the vital role music, especially singing, should play in our lives to support mental health and well-being. at every level; individual, family, community, culture. The voice is the perfect instrument b/c it goes everywhere with us, hands-free, no additional weight! My greatest challenge now lies in maintaining momentum until next year’s Natural Singer program. Thanks again for an amazing shared experience.”

“Thanks for a most fruitful weekend of vocal/soul calling forthdom.”

“I want to thank all of the participants from my deepest core. The weekend was a phenomenal experience, and from my front-row seat I took every breath with each of you as you sang.”

“With extraordinary musicianship and personal insight, Claude instantly created a safe, supportive community, where each voice was nurtured, each individual was helped to discover his/her own sound, feel his/her uniqueness and connect on a very spiritual level with kindred souls to share the joy of singing.”

“I have always loved to sing and although I have sung professionally as a back up with a “rock and roll garage band” never really experienced myself as a singer. I was always protecting myself from someone hearing me sing out of key. During the Natural Singer, I experienced both the courage to take a risk and an environment where it was safe to do so. My fear of being found out has lost its grip on me. Thank you.”

“I came into the workshop with choral and backup vocal experience but no singing depth that comes from self awareness. I emerged from the workshop with a depth of emotional awareness that will inform my singing forever. Thank you for helping me find the internal voice that forms the foundation on which to build my singing.”

“The family session was wonderful. My Mom, especially, really surprised herself and was thoroughly thrilled with the experience. You definitely have a gift and it was great to share it with all of them.”

“Claude’s expertise, intuition, and humor and our group connection, returned to me the joy I remember feeling as a musically-immersed kid. Back then, I was deeply and daily involved with music, singing, playing the piano and guitar, and performing. Music was my self-identity. Music was the good that I put out into the world. Somewhere along life’s journey, that joy and goodness got lost, being replaced by fear, heaviness, seriousness, self-consciousness, self-doubt, and more fear. The joy and goodness has reemerged, and life is so much better for it.”

“The weekend lives in me. Some part of me was asleep and is now awake. I’ve loved to sing for so long, but doubted that I should, wondering if others thought I was good enough. I see now I sing because I must.”

“The experience was very unexpected, to say the least. I had come to attend another workshop and stumbled onto this one… ‘by accident?. I left having come ‘clean’ about aspects of myself that I had never acknowledged, much less shared with anyone. Thank you for an enlightening weekend… and making me cry so much!! I look forward to continued growth.”

“Life feels a little different after last weekend – I was driving behind a school bus the other morning on my way to work and singing away, the bus making frequent stops to pick up kids; usually I would stop my singing so that the kids in the back of the bus wouldn’t witness this but this time I just looked them straight in the eye and kept singing to my hearts content. It felt good!”

“I’m back in the Boston walking down the streets singing “Take Me Home Country Roads” in my new Big Voice and getting funny looks. Oh well. Claude, thanks for such a great and meaningful workshop.”

“Thank you everybody for sharing your voices and songs, hearts and souls. You are all great. I got the first lesson of the home study course. If there is anyone in the area who wants to get together to continue -please be in touch. Best wishes for a Happy Holiday season to everyone. All good blessings to you all. Until our paths cross again…”

“Thanks to this workshop, my whole life is alive with music now, I perform all the time, and people love it and thank me all the time for entertaining them. I just thought you should know what can happen after a Kripalu seminar with Claude Stein.”

” It made a profound difference in how I sing, perform and realize my own compositions.”

“Claude is the best presenter I have ever worked with, and at 60, I’ve been to many, many workshops all over the world. So this is said with conviction.”

“The support and love I felt from all of you helped me to move through my fear and resistance, to find some excitement and pleasure in singing and self-expression.”

“Since the workshop I’ve used some of what we practiced in my small group choir practice last Thursday, and got my Monday yoga group singing in Warrior 1 position (hint: if you’re going to use a series of ascending notes, don’t make it sound like the Jetson’s theme!).”

“Claude Stein is one of the best teachers I have ever met. He is intuitive, completely present, and amazingly focused. He is extremely generous with his knowledge and his energy, and I believe every single participant in “The Natural Singer” underwent some form of individual transformation. If you have any doubts about whether to take a workshop, let them go. Fear Less.”

“I had started taking some singing lessons a month or two before the workshop and went to my scheduled lesson yesterday. At first, I didn’t mention having attended the weekend. With each song and exercise I sang my teacher’s face showed more and more astonishment and finally she said, this is the best you’ve done so far. That’s when I told her about the workshop. It was phenomenal to have my impressions validated about how much change took place in just a few short days.”

“I had an incredible weekend. It was amazing to watch everyone go through such a transformation over the weekend. It was wonderful to see how comfortable we all became with each other and how incredibly supportive we all became. Singing in front of a group is a very vulnerable experience in my eyes and I am very happy to have be able to share that with all of you and to be a part of the class’s transformation. Also Claude did a fantastic job really targeting what we needed to work on at that moment which was beautiful as well! Thank you!”

“The lesson with Claude was enlightening to say the least. It was like a booster shot of the workshop vaccine. Renewed enthusiasm and confidence to keep singing.”

“This weekend was a pure delight! THANK YOU CLAUDE. I volunteer at a middle school once a week with 6 graders through the Big Sister Organization and today when I met with the girls I told them I took a wonderful singing class this weekend and they asked me to sing a song. Without any hesitation I sang them “It’s in everyone – by and by” and it was wonderful plus they were all quiet for the entire time I was singing. Usually they are talking and interrupting each other and us non stop. It was an incredible minute! I am thinking of singing a song each week to them.”

“The weekend was perhaps the most transforming of my life. I have not yet retained a singing teacher but will do so. Claude is brilliant at finding the emotional core of each of our beings. It was validating and enlightening for me to laugh, cry, cheer, wonder, sulk and celebrate with the rest of you. Indeed, I felt every element of my limited emotional repertoire except boredom.”

“We were all so blessed this weekend, we were invited, supported, and challenged to dive deep into the healing power of authentic, courageous community… where every voice is welcome, and every heart is heard.”

“POWERFUL. HEALING. TRANSFORMATIONAL. This workshop will push you beyond your limiting beliefs to knowing how truly gifted you really are. Claude gently moves you from thinking with your head to feeling with your heart and that is when magic happens. The safe, protective and loving environment created by Claude will ground you and you will allow yourself the space to sing as you’ve never song before, naturally.”

“O…M….Goodness……….I just downloaded the Keroke on line program and had so much fun with it I stayed up till 3am singing song after song!! What a great way to go through the holidays. I highly recommend it for a great time.”

“This is a quick note to say thank you for an incredibly rich week spent learning under your coaching. My morning walks with my dog are now spent humming, hissing, gnawing, bah-bah-bah-ing and loo-ing now, and my dog just doesnt quite get it. but i am so on board! Thank you for everything you gave us.”

“My singing was so much better today in the recording studio. thanx for your help. Looking forward to another lesson. It felt ‘connected’. the sound didn’t stop and i had more power and strenght! I’m sure it is due to practicing what you taught me and opening up my larynx and widening it.”

“Just like all of you…I am still on a singing high! I have made a commitment to continue on my journey of singing – I found a voice teacher and I will being singing lessons in two weeks! It feels as if the world has opened up right before my eyes….new territory….singing. I deeply appreciate all of you, helping to create a safe environment that enabled me to take a huge risk. Thank you!”

“Claude, thank you for providing a loving hand throughout our workshop. It is through your efforts that I have found my singing voice. I will always be grateful for your high standards, while providing the assistance and encouragement needed to help me heal my inner child ‘s perception of singing. You are indeed a master teacher that transforms lives and one who challenges individuals to achieve the unthinkable.”

“Wow….what an amazing experience this past weekend was for me! Transformational in so many ways….I continue to be moved by what I experienced, what I witnessed and what I heard. Claude—I am inspired by the gift that you so generously share with others and amazed at how it really helps to create profound shifts in sound and spirit. And I am moved by the honesty and openness of all who participated in the weekend. Like so many, I am feeling as if I am still there…with you all, as I hear so much of the music in my head….”

“What a terrific breakthrough! My creative energy is flowing free and my heart and soul are singing with joy. I enlivened my yoga dance class yesterday with confident song and dance as a result of our work together this weekend and Claude – your amazing gift to know just the right way to support my singing! Thanks to you all!”

“My recorded lesson has been my almost daily practice in the car! I am more confident and connected in my singing! I thank you from the bottom of m heart!!”

“thanks also for all of your encouragement and guidance and teaching. If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be singing in public…so I will be forever grateful.”

“I try to sing every chance I get and thank you from the bottom of my heart for the opportunity to open my mouth and try. I have even been told I had a beautiful voice.”

“Such an honor to share this experience with all of you. Claude — thank you for creating such a warm and living space for us to be vulnerable and reveal our tenderness. It was a magical weekend!”

“On Sunday night I had the pleasure of sitting in the whirlpool at Kripalu alone…and took great advantage of singing my lungs out! The acoustics were great! Highly recommended to all!”

“if anyone ever asked my about my favorite week in the worold, I will have a quick response. “The week we sang at Esalen”

“The entire process was amazing, enlightening and exhilarating.”

“Most valuable was sharing others’ experience of breaking barriers to their singing.”

“Such a freeing experience. I’ve never seen such a transformational workshop. Superbly talented presenter.”

“Most valuable was the absolute touching of our souls that Claude created.”

“7 minutes in heaven—oh wait, it was 6 minutes with Claude Stein!”

“Thank you Claude for illuminating and working with the blocks and talents within each of us. I was personally amazed to witness and experience how liberating singing can be when fears are shed and the heart is opened.”

“As I re-enter my life here I can feel that I have returned with an expanded sense of self. I’ve shed a layer of the fear that has always been with me. I am more fully present. It’s very sweet to feel the shift!”

“This group was so very nourishing, uniquely so in the presence of that tropical air, that incredible food, the beauty of the place – magical! And the magic combined with the gifts you brought to us all, Claude! Your own excitement, your incredible musicality, your ability to find and reflect back to each of us what we most needed – gifts to be treasured. I am already thinking about when I can do this again, at nearby Kripalu. (And it will not be the same.)”

“Claude Stein is a master teacher. As a teacher myself it was a distinct pleasure to feel nurtured as he guided the participants in a specific process of self-actualization through facing fears. I will definitely return for other workshops.”

“I do believe it has changed my life. I am at a crossroads in life and Claude’s insight, experience and coaching has given me the fire under my butt to take a leap forward. The structure of his workshop too allows for such compassion for self and others that he pushes the envelope of human potential. So grateful!”

“Amazing! Miraculous! I had very high expectations, and this workshop far exceeded them. Claude Stein is a phenomenally talented teacher – extremely masterful with music, very professional, but also with a huge heart and compassion for his students.”

“Claude allowed me to let go of my personal reservations about singing, created a safe container where I could explore my voice without fear or ridicule. He knew exactly how to deal with each individual and their level.”

“Wonderful! Full of heart, laughter and tears. I improved my singing 500%!”

“Extraordinary! I’ve done many dozens of workshops in my life and this one turned out to be the most enriching, enlightening and inspired one of my life. Claude is an amazing teacher and angel.”

“Deeply transformative! I went from a shy single who loves to sing for children to someone who can sing with my full voice naturally, from my heart, with joy. The workshop was conducted expertly, every exercise built on the next. The witnessing by a supportive audience was deeply healing. Claude is very skilled at seeing where each person is at and taking them to their next growth step, the next place in their song/life.”

“Hey Guys, I sang/wept through San Diego Serenade by Tom Waits. A beautiful song that I think I could not do at another singing class I took a while back. It was a most wonderful experience this past weekend. I enjoyed you all so much, and I’ll always have these words to get through, “How could anyone ever tell you that you’re anything less than beautiful, How could anyone ever tell you you were less than whole……..” The hair on my neck is rising so I better go find a box of tissues !!!!
Thank you all so much and Claude you are really very cool.”

“Love to you all and thanks for following your hearts. You gave me the courage to follow mine. It’s so hard to describe to friends about Sunday; each person’s effort seemed like a present with a surprise inside. I can’t believe where we all went!”

“Inspiring, fun, heart-opening. Educational, amazing, amazing, AMAZING!!! Claude is a gift to the world – his work is deeply transformational and no one else is doing what he offers.”

“Nearly a couple of weeks on, and an ocean apart (is that line from a song?!) I continue to feel very lucky to have met, and sung with you at Esalen. These sentiments have not diminished. Memories of your voices, and that week together, are a real source of inspiration to me. Claude, thanks again for weaving your magic with us.”

“I’ve been doing the warm-up exercises, also in the car to/from work. I’m going to continue to sing in the environments I’ve been part of, and thanks to many of you encouraging me to do so, I’m going to explore what may be possible outside of what I normally do. Ie there’s a rock band karaoke not far from me on Thursday nights, so I’m going to take that opportunity to rock out w/ a live band, woo hoo! That’s a stretch for me as I typically sing broadway numbers/musical comedy/ballads at the piano bar and hymns/folk at church. I’m also going to explore piano bar ‘open mic’ opportunities in NYC, just to explore that experience, something from outside of my own ‘backyard’…”

“I took a chance on my voice and sang an old Scottish ballad that I have sung for 30 years a cappella at a Bobbie Burns gathering the other night. I brought the dang house down (maybe they had drunk too much Scotch and there were some easily charmed older gentlemen in the crowd). I even got my first standing ovation. I love singing and will always think of you for the skills and confidence
I garnered at your workshops.”

“I found sounds in my voice that I have been looking for years.”

“I was singing with my big voice for the entire five hours of driving home on Sunday. And I feel so alive, so happy. And I have been singing to everyone I,ve talked to.”

“What a very special weekend. I know I returned home happier, more relaxed, and stronger. I don’t think some people recognized the new me!

“I purchased and downloaded Claude’s online instruction…great to practice with while getting ready in the morning — and I am going to my first choir practice tomorrow night! Miracles do happen! Thanks Claude and everyone else for helping facilitate all the miracles and epiphanies that happened in the Natural Singer.
Sing on.”

“Thank you all for your support, your humor, your openness and honesty. That was a beautiful, transformative weekend. Every day since then (all three days!) I’ve done vocal warm-ups and sung along as I picked out songs on my keyboard, teaching myself to play the piano. (I got the keyboard a few weeks ago and it’s related to another story I’m not telling any more!) I’ve discovered that I can sing two consecutive notes correctly but not recognize–when I try to find them on the keyboard– that they’re the same note! Not to worry, just to enjoy that the brain is very strange and full of wonders. Claude, I am blown away by your ability to perceive exactly what each of us needed, musically and emotionally, and by how compassionately you guided us. Thank you so much.”

“As I mentioned, I am a literacy volunteer. Our training encouraged us to use music to help people read. I work with a guy and was certainly, like, totally uncomfortable doing that. Not anymore because so what? Who cares? No one dies of embarrassment, right? Plus, my student gets to read more easily. He’s a young man that had a stroke 4 years ago and has made great progress before I began to tutor him in December. Thank you, Claude for giving me the courage to bring music to the lessons.”

“Hello all of you amazingly beautiful beings :) . I’ve been busy singing to my children and teaching them the exercises (6 and 8 yrs old). So fun!
They don’t say “stop!” anymore, they actually listen or join in. I know I’ve got a long way to go as a baby in the music world, but was so inspired by all of your feedback that I will keep singing. Thank you thank you thank you. As the latecomer, i didnt share how i was led back to faith in the midst of trauma. It was truly an amazing out if body experience to sing praise from the heart. I felt as if God was singing through me. Thank you to all of you for making it a safe place to do so.”

“What an amazing weekend, just getting time to fully process my experience. Had to leave too quickly Sunday to pick up my husband and daughter from Logan, sang my heart out all the way, dusted off some songs on my ipod too. Sang with them in the car on the way to ski, jabbering all the way there about what a fantastic experience I had and about the wonderful people I spent the weekend with sharing, overcoming, triumphing and having a good time. I skied Tuesday and well, I am a pretty decent skier but I was so in the zone and confident tearing down that mountain singing all the way til my ipod died late in the day and it was…….Alleluia, Aaaalleluia with all of you there til the mountain closed. Thank you all for a truly meaningful experience and thank you Claude for your brilliant and intuitive teaching style, you made us all shine. Will be singing backup for my daughter in February at her school “Coffeehouse” performance night……lots more to explore, isnt life grand:)”

“Fellow singers, I felt your presence during my first vocal lesson today! My “intention” is just to sing…feeling happy and experiencing pure joy. I also sang Happy Birthday to my granddaughter today at her party. Whoooo hooooo…….I actually sang Happy Birthday without lip syncing… a first for me!!”

“Somehow is my life different…more receptive, more loving, more accepting, more connected, less judgmental, more grateful, more startled by inconsequential things , more sensitive to others, more self-accepting, more accepting of others, more dismayed by what is, more amazed at what is possible, more motivated to work on myself, more wanting to help, more committed to giving voice to essential feelings thru song and words, more knowing that all this is and has to be a part of every moment.”
“It was beyond my imagination.”

“Claude –I am sure you are getting a veritable flood of e-mails raving about the class, but I wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t as well.
I want you to know how terrific I thought the experience was. Although I have played the guitar for years, I have never actually sung louder than a whisper. The night before my first song, I spent an hour in the studio alone, and that was the first time I have ever really projected my singing voice. It was such a special moment for me. I want you to know how much I respect you and your craft. I hope to be able to do the program again and really make some serious progress.”

“My voice is just getting stronger these days, I hear a new sound that I like – for the first time in my life. And it feels good. Liberating. Letting go of expectations, letting go of the fear of ‘succeeding’ or ‘not succeeding’. I just love to sing. And I love to not be the judge of my singing anymore. I love to not hold myself back.”

“The weekend program with all of you at Kripalu was certainly inspiring and I’m looking forward to using what I learned when I perform at my next open mic. Thank you, Claude, for guiding me through the journey to find my natural voice. I also gained so much from listening to each of you in the group.”

“Thank you for the follow up emails from this weekend workshop. And mega-ultra-thank you for your laser-beam expert ability and compassionate presence. As I said in my email to the group — there just are not words to express how important this work was to me. How about!!! YAY!!!!”

“Sometimes life makes you wait for special things to occur, or perhaps there is just a readiness. No matter what I am so grateful that I permitted myself this time to be shared with all of you. Each personality offered such a growth step for me, and needless to say Claude, the transformation and impact you had on me is life-altering.”

“I finally feel like I deserve to sing out – what a gift. Much gratitude to Claude for creating this opportunity, and to you all for your presence. I am singing loud and loving it!”

“This past weekend was quite amazing as it was quite impressive to see and feel the transformations happen within a five minute time frame. – So much for the need for years of psychotherapy-way overrated!!”

“I found each and every one of you to be captivating. Claude’s ability to see inside and unearth the issue that needs to be addressed in 30 seconds or less is completely uncanny and you all had me on the edge of my seat! I’m going to work on reminding myself to breath, to give myself permission to breath. I stopped to see my 8 year old god son on the way home. And wouldn’t you know it, he was working on a song for school! We sang together, something I NEVER would have been comfortable or relaxed enough to find the breath to do before. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you…and 33 more thank yous”
