Diaphragmatic Breathing

Diaphragmatic breathing promotes relaxation and a better tone. At 5 breaths per minute we are in coherence; the optimum coordination of our heart (circulatory system) and our lungs (pulmonary system). This bring us into a more meditative, alpha wave state where we focus better. For singing, it allows the voicebox to drop, giving us richer spatial resonance, less strain and the ability to sing with one voice across our entire range.
